PRE-VIZ
ON THE GRID
We offered
this service on a recent TV special "The
Grid". The series involved terrorists
who in one scene plant and detonate bombs
in a busy Nigerian town. Fireballs and debris
were integrated with car cannons and jerk
rigs and the previz was a remarkably accurate
tool to help coordinate this scene. In the
days leading up to the shoot the director
and other HOD's were able to really understand
what was going to be happening and when;
enabling them to do their job better and
more coherently with others. For oursleves
we were able to achieve better quality effects
which were safer and exactly as the director
visualised.
